The Quest Recovery Centre
The Quest Recovery Centre will be a place to receive culturally appropriate services for recovery from various substance use disorders. It is designed to provide a peaceful place to heal and begin a journey towards wellness.
The design takes into account all the necessary components to promote recovery and will provide spaces such as round rooms with ventilation for traditional ceremonies as well as a sweat lodge on the grounds.
Multiple large meeting rooms for group sessions and a series of smaller rooms for individual and programming are included.
Fitness facilities will include a large gymnasium & multi-purpose space that will have enough capacity to host gratitude ceremonies to recognize the successful completion of the program. It will also have separate gender-specific fitness areas with treadmills, stationary bikes and weights.
There will be a fully equipped commercial kitchen that will offer clients, volunteers, and families healthy meals as well as traditional and cultural cooking.
A large dining room will accommodate clients, staff and families.
Resident lounge areas on each floor allow for relaxation and reflective time.
An outdoor park-like setting with river views provides the backdrop for culturally appropriate land-based healing.
